Rustic Metal Sculptures
If you've been to our store in the Departure Bay BC Ferry Terminal you will see rustic sculptured salmon swimming through the building suspended from the roof. They are simply amazing so we just had to have them in our store. Each piece is brought to life by artist Ron Stephens through a process of hand cutting, bending and welding and then exposing them to the west coast humidity which slowly rusts the surface leaving each piece even more unique. This process can take up to three weeks depending on the natural environment... so it's a good thing we don't live in rainy rusty British Columbia. These rustic metal sculpture are very popular and can compliment any decor, rustic or elegant, inside or out.
They have been coated with a protective sealant to minimize any further rusting which can be reapplied when needed if left outside.
